Refund and Returns Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you for shopping at Adrian Oliver Chocolates<\/strong> (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We take pride in handcrafting high-quality, artisan chocolates.<\/p>\n

Because our products are fresh food items, specific legal rules apply to cancellations, returns, and refunds under UK law. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.<\/p>\n

  1. No Right to Cancel (“Change of Mind” Returns)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Under Regulation 28(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013<\/strong>, the standard statutory 14-day cooling-off period (right to cancel or return goods for a full refund without giving a reason) does not apply<\/strong> to:<\/p>\n

    • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (perishable goods, including fresh chocolates and bonbons).<\/li>\n
    • Bespoke or personalized items tailored to your specific request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This means that once an order has been dispatched, you cannot return chocolates simply because you changed your mind, no longer require them, or do not like the taste.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Cancellations Before Dispatch<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        If you wish to cancel an order after placing it online, you must contact us immediately at adrianoliverchoc@yahoo.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        • If your order has not yet been prepared or dispatched:<\/strong> We will cancel your order and issue a full refund to your original payment method.<\/li>\n
        • If your order has already been dispatched:<\/strong> We cannot accept a cancellation or offer a refund due to the perishable nature of the food products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          1. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015<\/strong> remain unaffected by the perishable exemption. If the goods you receive are:<\/p>\n

            • Damaged in transit,<\/li>\n
            • Faulty or unfit for consumption, or<\/li>\n
            • Incorrect (different from what you ordered),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund.<\/p>\n

                  1. Failed Deliveries & Customer Responsibility<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Because fresh chocolate requires timely delivery to maintain quality:<\/p>\n

                    • Accurate Address:<\/strong> You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address at checkout. We cannot issue refunds for orders delivered late or lost due to incorrect details provided by the buyer.<\/li>\n
                    • Receiving the Package:<\/strong> It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the delivery, or to collect the parcel promptly if left at a local pick-up point or safe place by the courier. We cannot accept liability or issue refunds for chocolates that melt, spoil, or are stolen because they were left unattended after a successful delivery attempt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                              Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                              Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can\u2019t offer you a full refund or exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.                                 There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                • Book with obvious signs of use<\/li>\n
                                • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.<\/li>\n
                                • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.<\/li>\n
                                • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                                  Refunds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  Late or missing refunds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                                  Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  Exchanges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  Gifts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you\u2019ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  If the item wasn\u2019t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  Shipping returns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
